Our services

What We Actually Do

We work on garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, panels, rollers, and cables for houses across the Spartanburg area. Most of the homes we get called to were built between 1938 and 2013, with the bulk going up in the 1960s and 70s across the 26 named areas that ring the city.

Ranch-era door wiring

That matters because a door installed on a 1968 ranch in Saxon or Arcadia isn't wired the same way as something built in the last ten years out past Duncan or Woodruff. We handle broken torsion and extension springs, off-track doors, openers that won't respond to the remote or the wall button, bent or dented panels, worn rollers that have started to shriek on the way up, and cables that have frayed off the drum.

Insulation for cold winters

We also do full door replacements when a repair stops making sense, and we size openers and insulation to the cold-moderate winters this part of South Carolina gets, where sudden overnight drops can stiffen an old spring before you ever notice it's failing.

Our team

Who Does the Work

The people who show up at your door are the ones who do the repair, start to finish, on the same visit when the part is on the truck. We don't run a call center that dispatches to subcontractors you've never met. Given that the service area runs from Park Hills two miles out to Hillbrook almost twenty, the crew that answers your call is the same crew that knows which of those 26 areas still has original one-piece doors on side-mounted torsion hardware from the 1970s build-out, and which ones have newer sectional doors that need a different spring calibration. We quote the job before we start it. If a repair is going to cost close to what a new door runs, with median household income in the area at $51,353, we tell you that plainly instead of running up a bill on a door that's past the point of fixing.

Our limits

What We Will Not Do

A row of brick houses with white garage doors and blooming pink trees.

We don't sell service plans or annual maintenance contracts - if your door isn't acting up, we're not going to invent a reason for you to call us. We don't carry every opener part on the truck for doors outside the common sizes and ages found in this area's housing stock, which mostly dates to between 1938 and 2013; a less common part sometimes means a short wait on order. We won't tell you a cracked panel needs a full door replacement when a panel swap will do, and we won't tell you a spring repair will hold on a door that's actually failing at the track or the opener motor. If a job is outside what we do - say, structural garage framing or electrical panel work beyond the opener circuit - we'll say so instead of taking it on.

Questions

Common questions

Do you work on older garage doors, not just new installs?

Yes. A lot of the area's houses date to the 1960s and 70s, and we regularly repair original one-piece doors and older torsion setups rather than pushing a replacement first. If parts for an older model are hard to source, we'll tell you that up front.

What areas around Spartanburg do you cover?

We work in Spartanburg and the surrounding communities, including Saxon, Arcadia, Southern Shops, Valley Falls, Roebuck, Glendale, Fairforest, Boiling Springs, and farther out to places like Duncan, Woodruff, Gaffney, and Campobello.

Will you always recommend replacing the door?

No. We look at the actual damage first. If a spring, cable, or panel repair solves the problem, that's what we do. Replacement only makes sense when the repair cost gets close to a new door's cost, or the door is failing in multiple places at once.
