We won't quote a firm price on anything we haven't seen in person if the damage looks structural - a door that's come off its track from impact, a bent panel, or framing that's shifted. Those need eyes on the opening, not a phone description.
We also won't push a full door replacement when a spring, cable, or roller repair solves the problem. A lot of the doors we see on older Spartanburg-area homes, especially the 1960s and 70s stock, are mechanically sound even when the hardware is dated, and swapping the whole door out isn't always the right call.
We don't install openers or doors we haven't physically measured for the opening, since a mismatched rough opening causes more callbacks than any other issue we see. And we won't give you a number over text or email without the door size and symptom first - a vague request gets you a vague range, which isn't worth much to either of us.
